Massahusetts Climate Action Network (MCAN) presents its 30th annual Local Environmental Action conference. This provides an opportunity to join community leaders, environmental advocates and activists from across New England for an exciting day of skills training, networking, and inspiration. Leaders, Kandi Mossett and Lois Gibbs, will be giving the keynote address. Kandi is a member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nations, the Indigenous Environmental Network's Extreme Energy & Just Transition Campaign Coordinator, and has been on the frontlines of the fight to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline. Lois Gibbs founded the Center for Health, Environment & Justice and has helped communities across the country fight to protect themselves from toxic exposures. Most recently, Lois has been working on the ground in Flint, Michigan.
