Fact:
"The typical American household generates 55,000 pounds of carbon dioxide annually. The average German household contributes only 27,000 pounds and the Swedish household only 15,000 pounds. There is so much individuals can do to slow global warming. The need is urgent." David Gershon

Climate Action Brookline is a member of Massachusetts Climate Action Network (MCAN), a network of local and statewide groups dedicated to halting the threat of global climate change.

About Us: Partners

Brookline Tomorrow:Climate Action Today is a partner initiative sponsored by Climate Action Brookline and the Selectmen's Climate Action Committee. There are over 100 organizations and hundreds of residents who have signed on to become partners. If you would like to join, go to the web site for easy sign on.

Climate Action Brookline is honored to have been invited by the trustees of the Public Library of Brookline to partner and produce Brookline Reads as part of Brookline Climate Week 2013.

Brookline Community Foundation awarded CAB a generous grant in 2008 towards creating materials and funding a part-time campaign director. We continue to work with BCF on climate change issues.

CAB is working with Massachusetts Climate Action Network (MCAN), along with nine other Massachusetts communities, to implement CoolMASS - a ground-breaking new program that enables households across the Commonwealth to act boldly to reduce their carbon footprints.

CAB appreciates the grant received from Eastern Bank in support of Climate Week 2013.
CAB partners with the Selectmen's Climate Action Committee on programs to reduce the net production of greenhouse gases in Brookline. For more information, visit the town's web site.
