Town Government May 2010: Brookline Town Meeting just approved a new “stretch energy” code that supporters say will encourage more energy efficient building practices in town. Vote was 206 to 3. CAB presented and helped pass a town warrant article in May 2008 that established the Selectmen's Climate Action Committee (CAC). CAB has representatives on the CAC and is working closely with them on multiple initiatives.
